Just been hearing the reports coming in.

Is this a guy who just lost it? Or a terror attack? This is less then 24 hrs after 5 British Soldiers were shot dead by a "rogue afghan soldier" in a training academy in Afghanistan

Seems like I'm coming over to visit at an interesting time!

I wondered if you had seen this before-I think it will make interesting viewing:

The forum advice about not firing Bren Tens not withstanding-its very thought provoking to see a JCC model being shot!! Note what appears to be the need to manually operate the gun after failures to feed. And a very sticky hammer on the last two shots.

Ammo appears very tame-note no large muzzle blast...

Well....since we have not seen anything new on Vltor's web-site, I felt I should update myself (so-to-speak) in reference to my story (who cares right?) of how I am saving up for the new Bren Tens...

I've managed to sell some firearms, and sock away enough cash (in these hard times) to POSSIBLY buy four Bren Tens from Vltor. I did stray away a little and I used some cash to buy a new Sig 225, and like others on this forum, the wait is killing me. I won't post anything...

Hey guys- I stumbled onto the site and then the forum after looking for info on the new VLTOR Bren. I'm a huge Vice fan and a gun nut. I've been following the Bren's resurection saga for a few years, starting back when the Perigren looked like a go. I've never dropped the cash on a real Bren because I'd been waiting, patiently, on a new version that I wouldn't be afraid to shoot regularly.

Does any of the intrepid 10mm fans here have a Witness magazine and a Glock Magazine? I am interested why the Witness magazine was chosen over any other magazine. The Witness mags appear to be of fair to indifferent quality, with a history of non spectacular reliability. Why choose this magazine over the Glock or even the P-16 Para magazine, both magazines with a history of reliability (the full size 10mm Glock magazine spectacularly so). Not had as much time recently to get on to this site anywhere near as often as I would like - and it seems that recently there has not been a lot of traffic. Probably we are all a little weary with the foot soldiering on the Fortis pistol. But its not in vain hopefully :-)

Well, the wait was longer than expected, the cost was more than anticipated, but it's done! I probably won't get a chance to shoot it until tomorrow though. I've only got a few rounds loaded so it won't be a big deal anyway. Just enough to check for function and see if my load data will work for fireforming purposes. Here's the parts breakdown:

There is a Standard Model on Auction Arms. It has a serial number of "RJTI" or "RJT1". There's no year, SM, etc. in the serial number. Any of you Bren Ten gurus know what the story is?
