How is it that the rumor-machine has gone into relativistic-speed-mode and we arrive at a conclusion, amongst others, that now the Fortis is NOT going to be
made and available? I'm assuming that this and other bits of speculation are the product of frustration and impatience, rather than based in any kind of
fact or solid evidence that supports it...
The Fortis weblog is typically 2-3 months between "installments"...the last one was in April...
Yeah, I'd like to have the Fortis out NOW and be shooting it, and hearing range-reports from the lot of you...well ahead of any fascist-inspired legislation cooked up by our current gaggle of self-proclaimed rulers...and I share the disappointment felt by many here, no question...and would MUCH rather be in a position to echo King Leonidas' immortal words to the Persians - ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ! than to regret not having that which they sought to take away...
But, my personal expectations have to occupy the realm of reasonable perspective, facts, and reality...lest I be the self-inflicted victim of misplaced hope and unreasonable expectations - and inordinate actions.
If we're getting spin from Eric, Vltor, etc., then let's call them on it...or tell them to take a flying leap at a rolling donut...however, if we're part of creating the spin, or the ones actually creating it, then please keep those figurative teeth together and be silent...some of this has gotten more than a bit bizarre and surrealistic given what we actually know or claim to know...
