To quote the banner at the local PD station that is hanging outside their fence (written in English, no less): "The possession and carrying of dangerous weapons is strictly prohibited" So, sigh, no, I didn't get anything that goes "BOOM!" this Christmas.....you guys have it lucky in the USofA. Brit.Cont.: I feel your pain...it sux!! However, all my goodies are in mothball back in the States, awaiting my return in 2010.....I hope the next 18 months go by, QUICKLY..!!! I got a nice set of heated gloves (!!!!) Some hunters waterproof socks, a new weatherproof jacket. And a new torch (flashlight) With everyone else carrying guns in GB, and the goverment going to have to grant ownership of .22 pistols for those who want to train for the Olympics in 2012 (we did tell them tehy would have to) I suspect the ban is nearly dead now. I think a late xmas present may well be a HAK HAK for 2x Vltor Ten's by Andy Arratoonian (if he can clear his backlog to make me something exotic!) http://www.holsters.org/ TBC My Government does not trust me with my guns-why should I trust them with theirs?

Consoled myself with a CCW after moving to a state where one can actually get one without being a politician or having a maverick CLEO (Kalifornistan is a tough place to have/enjoy firearms or hunting). Hopefully, it will be an early Christmas THIS year with a couple of Fortis pistols and an H&K MR762 under the figurative tree... *There is no future* *until we settle our past...*

Pics and range report will follow... I guess karma was with me too, because no sooner did the gun come inbound, than a friend of mine brought me a "gift", a mixed bag of loose .45acp ...
