Well, the wait was longer than expected, the cost was more than anticipated, but it's done! I probably won't get a chance to shoot it until tomorrow
though. I've only got a few rounds loaded so it won't be a big deal anyway. Just enough to check for function and see if my load data will work for

I've got a Young Manufacturing NM carrier on order, but it'll probably be another few weeks so I cannibalized a Bushmaster carrier from another AR.
This is my first AR build. I was a bit intimidated at first (I am no gunsmith by ANY stretch of the imagination), but I have to say I'm pretty pleased with the outcome (assuming it actually works). It wasn't nearly as difficult as I was anticipating. This definitely fits the "why didn't I do this sooner?" category!
